Any honest observer of Southern Baptist life would affirm
the fact that we are definitely in the midst of paradigm change. Whether it be
the agencies of the Southern Baptist Convention, the makeup of the Florida
Baptist Convention or how we approach the concept of association, things are
changing. During the year and a half
where there was no director at GSBA, momentum, in terms of investment, slowed to a
crawl. Total receipts for Gulf Stream in 2013 were $193,000; grew in $2014 to $227,000;
advanced further in 2015 to 245,000 dollars; and, grew slightly last year to
almost $246,000. We are grateful to the 88 churches who participated with us. A
